I agree, other than black and gray and black and blue my favorite is the C-Note Party sweater. Must be the Mick in me!

YEAH I AGREE. I AM HALF MICK SO THAT GREEN MUST CAST THAT IRISH SPELL ON ME.
YOU KNOW WHO ELSE HAD A GREAT LOOKING SWEATER WAS THE PLAYBOYS. THE BLACK AND WHITE LOOKED GOOD.
THE WORSE SWEATER I EVER SEEN WAS THE YOUNG AMERICANS. RED WHITE AND BLUE LOOK GREAT ON OUR FLAG BUT NOT ON A SWEATER.

Yeah, I thought the Playboys were very distinctive.
Once you started adding a third color it got to be a bit cartoonish. The Irish Clowns sweaters were a bit much also.

I never seen a Irish clown sweater. What were the colors? I also wonder if the Maniac Drifters had sweaters. I also never seen a Thorndale Jagoff sweater either.
I remember having a old unkown sweater. this had to be at least 1975 and there original colors were all black. It actually looked pretty cool. Especialy when you were styling your tan baggies and black swedes.

I remember the old Jensen Park and Palmer Street Gaylords. They only wore black cardigans in the late sixties.
I think the Irish Clowns were green red and yellow. You would have thought they would at least be green, white and orange.
I never saw a Thorndale Jagoffs sweater. Don't know what colors they were either. I used to hang out at the Huddle at Roosevelt on Kimball. It was kind of like Lennies at Lane. Lot of sweaters there. Royal, Popes, Gaylords, C-Notes, etc. We even had some Harrison Gents that hung there once in a while. They had nice sweaters. That would be around 74 to 77.
