Leaky clutch master cylinder on T25
..as it says, a few presses of the clutch and one drop of brake/clutch fluid will appear on the bolt which holds the master cylinder onto the bracket.
Nothing major (yet!), but every time i come back to the van there's a bit more fluid on the floor, and a bit less in the reservoir
Can they be repaired? Big job or not?
Thanks
/Dale

Re: Leaky clutch master cylinder on T25
Hi
I have changed a brake master cylinder on a T25 it is not simple because it is inside and behind dashboard (brake fluid on carpet or pedal rubbers is not nice)
The job is however do able
For the cost of a new brake master cylinder,I would not recondition.About £70
Phone for more info

Re: Leaky clutch master cylinder on T25
Yay cheers for that lilbug
GSF do the whole master cylinder for about £30 (after 10% SVWOC discount )
Could have gone for the repair kit for half the money, but need the job done quickly so a simple remove-refit-bleed is a better option.

Re: Leaky clutch master cylinder on T25
Fed up with constantly refilling the reservoir, i went for it and replaced the master cylinder today.
An easy job in itself, but made longer by shearing off the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder, ha ha
Presumably i can get the rest of it out with a small-size screw extractor?
