Re: Brighton Breeze
I thought that the only way to get onto Maderia Drive was by displaying the card hanging from your interior mirror that the Split Screen Club sent with the pack.
Am I wrong? Or was there a load of fake ones or officials not doing their job last year?
I did notice that last year there was a LOT more vehicles than the previous years we've done it.
Either way it is a great day out if it stays dry...by the way what is the forecast for the weekend?

Check out The Met Office Website from tomorrow onwards.... if Friday's anything to go by it should be nice!

I have heard loads of people moaning that people who havent even done the run drive straight to madeira drive and take up all the parking! Hopefully the organisers (split screen owners club) can sort this out!!!
They won't/can't sort it out.
This will be the first year i will miss the cruise/camping on fri night/sat morning. Shame as i always loved that part of the event.
However last year the convoy didn't arrive till gone lunchtime and we didn't get parked on the seafront til about 2pm. We were right down by the marina and it was a long walk with a pushchair with no pavements to get up to the main show area.
After factoring in petrol, camping and ticket the weekend must have cost about £100 for the 2 hours we were there.
This is definately not a dig at the show or the organisation as i love the event and go every year without fail. It is unavoidable that the show has gotten so popular as it is very well run.
The organisers can't be blamed for the brighton traffic, people not following the routes, and let's face it, someone has to be parked down by the marina but i only live 20 mins away and so have decided that from now on getting there early on the Saturday is the best option to fully enjoy the show.
Looking forward to Saturday! See you there.
