1961 beetle goings on
this is my 1961 beetle i have had for just over 3 years now and still love it to bits even when it is in bits!
It looks a bit rough at the mo but i have got plans for it as soon as the funds come along.
The whale tale was bought for 50p at peppercorn 2006 and then later sold for £2.50 by a mate of mine!! just for laughs lol
as you can see i have changed the old empi's for some polished empi 5's, i just need to lower the back again and give it a new paint job.
i would also like an exterior sun visor for it so if your selling one or know anyone who is let me know!!
I know its really dirty but its a daily runner so thats how it gets!!

04.01.2009 Today was a good day, i was logging on to the vzi forum and thought i would try serching the lost and found. i scrolled down 2 and found my registation plate staring me in the face, excitedly i cliked on to find the previos owner wanting to find his first car! This guy (Si) sold this car roughly 18 years ago and posted the thread over 2 years ago to find it.(i hope it was worth the wait) Si got back to me and is digging out some old photos of the restoration on the car when he had it. as soon as i get them they are going up!! woop!! woop!!

what was nice was at Langley this month i came down in my orange beetle and when i left i counted another 4 beetles in the car park

snow time driving
wondering why there is no snow on my car? well i just had a fun journey back from rye without going over 29mph. gotall the way to the drive and couldn't get up it!
thats some deep H2O into snow!!
