hello from spike


hi guys our names are Phil and Tamsin plus kids and joined club last month and hoping to make it along to the next meet on 24 June (if i can get Spike finished). Spent last 8 months undertaking restoration or should i say customising 1979 westfalia 2litre as our 10 year family camper, so dont shoot me, everyone to their own tastes!just need to sort out dellorto carb issues and can run her in and poptop roof, tinted glass to finish and a few bits and bobs. (running out of steam)

Basic spec is

red metalflake full respray with white flake roof spray, relaminated units in spun aluminium, new interior finished in red and black vinyl, new leisure battery with zig control unit, engle fridge, propex heater, new external gas tank, external water tank, red 9 design lowereing kit to front and 2 " drop to rear, tvdvd combo built into kitchen unit, 2051cc engine with drla twin dual carbs,centreline alloys etc etc

returned to vws after 18 year lay off and also have beachbuggy- loving every minute and cant wait to cruise emoticon
