camper fridge bust

Anyone know a wo/man who can check out/fix or 3 way Electrolux fridge? Live in Eastbourne area so within reasonable distance would be good.

Fridge works but only cools with ice box now failing to freeze on mains. Suspect it may be coolent but...

Fridge was the only thing to let us down on our recent great 2 weeks in Cornwall, appart from the weather!

Any pointers would be great and appreciated.
Paul

Cheers Bob
Given we don't have a drive it's dificult to test this, don't fancy leaving it going in the car park we use! It may get one or two of the neighbours going. I need to clean the van out this weekend following our vac, so will check it out on the gas then.

Can I assume from what you're saying that one element is for 12/240v electric with the other for Gas, or what?

Thanks for the tip re Dometic and Marquis at Golden Cross, they were to be my last resort emoticon

Paul

yes one element for gas and one for 12/240v.
look on "brickyard"in the "Wikki"and there is a section all about fridges.

Re: camper fridge bust

Hi, just read this so maybe this comes too late.

I have had the same problem + gas also didn't work. Have since overhauled my fridge with spares at a total cost of app. £25.

If you want I can send you the contact number for the spares supplier as well as drawings/part numbers for your fridge. Happy to give tips on how to diagnose the problem.
