Ghosts and Pylons!

Some haunted locations seem to be surrounded by quite a few pylons. I was wondering what other peoples views are on the affect pylons would have in an area that is 'active'. Would it be as Spirits need energy to appear are they tapping into the energy from the pylons or would the electromagnetic energy from the pylons somehow create the human brain to halucinate, sense or see apperations that are not really there?

What do you think?

I can only speak from my own point of view.

Pylons emit a large amount of EMF and positive ions, which is known to affect the human brain in strange ways. So from a sceptic point of view we must first look at these effects on us.

At gresley old hall we noticed that in the one room we recorded a positive ion reading, people were feeling tired, emotional and generaly bad! Now it is early days for our Ion meter to be able to say for sure if there is a genuine link here or not, but if there is then maybe the pylons don't make the ghosts come out to play as such, but instead they make people feel as though theyre in a haunted location because of the ions and emf they emmit

LPA did an invest last Friday night (the location had pylons nearby). Everywhere we went we got really high readings of EMF - at some points the readings went off the scale!! No wonder there have been sightings there with all the EMF around - pity none of us got anything on the night!!

This wasn't the only location I've done surrounded with pylons, another private location near Cov was surrounded and they claimed to have paranormal happenings - everytime we went (TPG this time) we got nothing!

I'm also sceptical about Stocksbridge bypass because of the pylons - there is suposed to be loads of sightings along there - makes you wonder what all this EMF is really doing to your brain!!

This is why we (paranormal Investigators) use EMF meters, though i am sure you wouldnt need them in a case where there is a 150ft one outside the location. Pretty obvious. But yes, EMF readings are a good device to use to erradicate possible interference from EMF.

But in my experience sometimes where there is a high EMF reading is an ideal location for paranormal phenomina to occur as spirits tend to draw on a electrical energies, weather that be from us or an electrical supply in order to manifest themselves.

Suppose that leaves the debate open & leaves plenty more to investigate the difference between paranormal phenomina & EMF.

But areas with a strong EMF, espacialy with an AC current, can interfere with humans making us feel strange which leads some people to believe they are experiencing paranormal phenomena.

I think this requires more research before i can offer my opinion as what i know so far is inconclusive, but that is also a reason why i would personally avoid these contaminated areas and investigate in a location with no pylons, power stations or large concentrations of EMF nearby.

As you said yes there can be electrical interference via EMP's, well thats more to what they are. Anyway, yes i am a firm beilever that there is allot of unanswerd questions in this field & am going to enjoy collating the evidence to hopefully find the truth on if there is a connection.

I know that there is so much we dont know about the paranormal & have enjoyed researching it over the last 4 1/2 years & hope that with the advances in modern technology some of the questions may well be answred in the near future.

Dont get me wrong though, technology isnt going to be able to answer all of the questions, hands on research & mediumship is also going to play a major part.

As is BELIEF
