Oh, I've seen more than enough photographs of 'orbs' to know full well what they are and this idea that in some way they're manifestations of paranormal activity is ridiculous.
Many psychological studies have been carried out over the years and it's positively amazing how a group of people can be made to 'see' the same thing by suggestion.

Thats a rather rude answer!
Don't forget Ghod, there are many years of experience in this field of work, far and wide! I myself have seen spirit lights/orbs with the naked eye and on pictures which were taken whilst I saw them! No 'suggestion' at all. 
Yes it is a debate section, but please have some respect for the other members when making comments!

Years of experience of what, exactly ? Chasing lights in the sky that people claim to see images of dead relatives in ? Errr, right.
You're obviously well brainwashed into believing, with you referring to them as "spirit lights" ! Ever considered the rational, scientific explanation for these ridiculous things ? I'll leave you with that as an exercise.

Oooh, I think you may be a sceptic then Ghod!
Of corse that is 'your' opinion! No brain washing going on here at all!
When I mean experience, what you fail to understand is that many people have dedicated many years of their time into researching phenomena which is classed as paranormal because this is the name it has been given as we are not in full understanding of what and why these unusual events and experiences take place.
Science does and has played its part in explaining some of the 'unknown' as I am sure you are well aware. However, no matter what your, or others opinions are on the subject, there are still going to be questions asked and a huge amount of the population on this planet believing what they see, hear and feel. To assume that brainwashing is taking place is, well again, your opinion. Just wait until you find yourself in the position where you have just found out that the person you were just in conversation with had been dead for fifty years.
Dont come on here and insult peoples intelligence, have some respect!

Ghod im glad you like to express your opinions so freely, but please try and have SOME respect for other members.
Just remember that for there must have been something wierd happening for Science to question in the first place. Science can only question a paranormal event after it has happened.

Having been a photographer for many years i have taken many pictures with "Orbs" in them, most you can put down to dust or water droplets. I am a very sceptical person and I like to prove things myself. You can very easily reproduce the “Orb” phenomenon with a digital camera.
During my studies at Grace Dieu most of the pictures have coincided with high EMF readings. I can put this down to surges in electrons giving high EMF and therefore enabling me to capture orbs. What I cannot explain is what is causing the surges !!

I wonder how many of you have heard of James Randi ?
For those who haven't, in 1964, he put up $1000 of his own money to the first person who could provide objective proof of the paranormal.
This prize money has now grown to $1,000,000 as it remains unclaimed.
