What intrests you?

What is it about the Paranormal that intrests you?

For me it's mainly ghosts as i don't believe in alot of the other areas such as UFO and the Loch Ness Monster.

I have seen things which i can't explain, my intrest is in finding out what is really going on.

Re: What intrests you?

I moved into my house 15 yrs ago. Until then, I had no knowledge of anything of a spooky nature unless it came by way of a horror film on TV.

I'd sit in the evenings in my front room watching the TV, and I'd see a shadow move....not a shadow on the wall, but sort of in the air. Something brushed past my foot one night in bed, but my dog was fast asleep and it couldn't have been her....and my bedroom was at the front of the house too.

One day the council dropped a leaflet through the letter box with a plan of Gresley on it, and I noticed that my front room and my bedroom were in a direct line between Gresley cemetary and Gresley church.

I got used to it, and, after my beloved little dog had died, I saw something moving on the floor too....and I would smell 'doggy' smells, even though the carpets and flooring had been changed. This was still happening 7 yrs after my dog had died.

Now I spend a lot of time at Glyn's, and I see something every night outside his door. His cat died just before Xmas, and now there are movements on his living room floor too.

Just before xmas his Mum died too, and in the hospital room the night before she died, there were two orangey coloured lights went across the wall, and a chill went over the bed as I leant there holding her hand.

In amongst all this, I got interested in the Tarot. I started to learn it......but then the night before the cat got killed, I saw death and greiving in the cards, and I assumed it would be Glyn's Mum. The cat was killed the next day.

The cards have gone now, never to return, and I content myself that the things I see are freindly and that they mean no harm.

But it is fair to say that I am now interested in spirits and ghosts, where before I was quite sure that they didn't exist.

Yes I,m mostly interested in "ghost,s"spirits whatever we like to call them .
The old part of our house is over 200years old and when we first moved in 25yrs ago quite a lot of strange things happened ,things went missing only to turn up again in exactly the same place as before, shadows came and went, nearly allways in the same direction as if they were on their way to somewhere ,I have been poked in the back a few times ,all sorts of strange things, first of all it was very unsettling but now they are just my "ghosts"for want of a better word ,and it doesn,t worry me anymore,in fact I quite often talk to them when I am walking around, and have no problems at all.
I will feel very sad when and if we move anywhere else (unless "they" move with me )lol...Bx
