Hiya tech noir. I used to live on a farm in the middle of nowhere and on many occasions i saw lights going over the burton area and the lights used to stop moving then suddlenly start as if it was looking for somewhere to land it definalty was not a helicopter because the lights went around in circle.

Re: UFO
Hiya. Tech Noir. It was about 13 years ago. Have you seen anything strange in our skies?

Hi, SPIR Richard,
Your belief seems a little paradoxical to me. For how can “the out there life” go about its business without some form of transportation?
Regards,
Danny

Hi Danny,
I'm like Richard, I believe in the possibility of life out there but I dont believe they have ever visited us.
I mean, the nearest star to us is 4 light years away, our fastest space craft is the shuttle which only travels at 40,000 mph, so to get to Andromeda, (the nearest star) even travelling at 1 million mph would take 2500 years. Do you know of anyone who could live that long or of a spacecraft that could last that long?
And even if aliens could do it, why travel all this way just to crash in the mexican desert
Another thing that people take for granted is that any life out there is more intelligent than us. Why? Why should it be? who says so, (apart from Sci fi comics).
Has it ever occured to anyone that WE might be the most advanced species in the universe?
Theres certainly no hard evidence to say we're not.
As to the question you pose to Richard, Life on Earth goes on despite having no form of transportation, (assuming you mean space travel) so why couldnt life exist out there without the means of traversing the Galaxy, we do it why cant they.
Dru.

Re: UFO
Hi Druid...?
It’s really nice to have the opportunity to say hello to you.
I fully appreciate the argument against space travel but it’s only from present day perspectives that such limitations are viewed. It’s my view; that if obstacles are cleared then progress in all things is assured no matter what the undertaking.
A hundred years ago using a horse and cart on the dirt roads of Great Britain would take days or weeks to reach a destination now with the alternative idea of the motorway arrival anywhere in the Country is now only a matter of hours away by car. If you expand on this alternative idea principal and use it for inter galactic space travel then the thousands of years between distances could effectively be brought down to a matter of moments by another’s technological advancements in travel.
It is not a question of being the more advanced either it’s all about the evolution of different mindsets throughout the universe and at what rate they have removed the obstacles from their way of thinking choosing to be in a state of flux rather than remain in a mire of evolutional inertia.
As to why aliens come all this way to crash in the desert; maybe for the same reason we crash land precision pieces of engineering into the dust bowls of the moon or the sandy landscapes on Mars or nearer to home, a twin turboprop Fairchild into the South American Andes?
As far as your “advanced species point is concerned?” I don’t think we have quite gotten there yet!
Danny
