Read the Government's responseThe Fraudulent Mediums Act 1951 will be repealed from April 2008 by the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2007 (CPRs) which implement the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive (UCPD).
The CPRs include rules prohibiting conduct which misleads the average consumer and thereby causes, or is likely to cause him to take a transactional decision he would not have taken otherwise.
Although the average consumer would arguably not be misled by a person who claims he is able to contact the dead, such conduct would still be unfair under the CPRs if it deceives the average member of (i) the group to which it is directed, or (ii) a clearly identifiable group of consumers who are particularly vulnerable to this type of practice.
Unlike the Act, there is no requirement in the CPRs to prove an "intent to deceive". This means that where practices are aimed at vulnerable consumers or average members of particular groups, it should be easier to take action against fraudulent mediums than under the Act.
The CPRs will be enforced by both civil (injunctive) action and criminal sanctions.

YES, you may close his thread on fake Mediums, but you cannot silence us. We are freedom fighters standing up for the people,and this is democracy forum. YOU cannot surpress us...as there will be an uprising...

Hi team.
It sounds like SPI have had some excitement with (the other one's) I will not say his name as SPIRichard will bann me lol. They have removed all the so called allegations from there web site? SO a summery all that bull**** crap on (the other one's web site) is to discredit SPI, and none of it was true,and they have not seen a Solicitor, but they put Those things on there site about you.. "what a twat ". I know a little law, what they did is wrong, if i was you i would take them to the cleaners, and did you know that behaviour can shut there site down. Did they? submitted the same posting 8 times in different sections of our forum? "why" if you click on his name as a new guest you can see were he as posted them all. I know i am not good at writing myself but what is he going on about?lol

Do you think that Most Haunted are making a come back?
Time to time,i chat with antix productions, the man who finds the locations for M H, and i do think that's the best job there.
Going to new pleases all over the UK and over sea's. The best M H i seen was The Queen Mary ship, in the US i would have liked to have gone there for an Investigation.

Hi i do have a look around different web sites all over the UK and the US that are about paranormal, body & soul and there are good chats rooms/forums like this site, it has funny topics and people's opinions which all off the forum respects on the paranormal. When i first come on here i was a bit of a twat because of (The others in Swad) which is run by Mr I G. He is hell bent on discrediting SPI in any way, he is going to fare with his clams and allegations?.I know most of is problems is The Green eyed Monster. I have come from his site he is (Profanity Removed)mad!!!. He needs help and is a danger to himself and to the public if he is going around thinking he a medium i have seen him work he isn't, he is a sad twisted man. I think half of his team has left him and i think one of his member's have been / still is on this forum just to cause trouble and to make the site look bad and unstable. Be sharp don't let them get to you!! especialy steve.
