Mediums
I'm as mediumistic (?) as a sausage, when anyone says 'Do you feel that strange sensation?' I'm the one at the back who says 'Nope' .....Hell I'd get an engaged tone on a ouija board!
So here's a couple of questions for the teams mediums....or anyone else who wants to share:-
1/ When moving to a new vigil location someone asks a medium 'Is there anyone with us now?' the usual answer is 'Someone has just entered the location'.....how come they always seem to turn up just after you got there and are never already there?, does a medium actually bring them in?.
2/ When a medium says 'He's a tall man in his late 50's, Victorian clothes, names something like Edmond...erm Edwin.....Edward that's it, he's looking for someone called Judy' do you actually see them as real people or just sense them?, do you just know things about them (like you do in dreams sometimes) or are they actually telling you the info?.
3/Can you learn how to do it?

Re: Mediums
1. They are always there, sometimes a medium as already been to the area so knows who is around, but as soon as spirit see the light from a medium, they are drawn to it, then we are able to communicate, a bit like a phone ringing and they pick up. They arent always there, sometimes we have to wait and ask for the link, and then its always upto spirit on whether they wish to speak.
2. All mediums work differently, i see spirit as i see you, sometimes very clear, sometimes in a haze, depending on how strong the link comes through. They speak, but we communicate with the mind, not the ears, so it isnt always clear and we arent always able to ask questions, there so excited by the communication, they dictate & its hard to but in and get exactly what you want back in return
Speaking to spirit in a reading is much easier than talking to spirit on location, some have been there a long time, so communication is difficult, i usually let them come close, in my aura, which is when they can try to take over and talk through me, it can be hard work.
3. You can sit in circles at spiritual churches and learn to open your mind, you have to give alot of yourself to work on a spiritual level, also to come to terms with who you are yourself and what others think of you, its quite a trial & you never stop learning.
Myself, i work from the heart & try to get as much information as i can from those seeking the answers, im not a fortune telling, yet i can pick the future up, but that is always in your hands at the end of the day, so you can change what is predicted at that time. Im here to help those wanting comfort and proof from spirit & to help those troubled souls find there way from the earthly.
Spirit always know what you are seeking and any good medium will answer your questions without you having to ask. They may need a litle help sometimes, but usually are on the right track.

Re: Mediums
Dianne,
in regards to the second question, why do 'spirits' seem confused about who they are when communicating with mediums. Many times I have seen mediums say I'm getting a M, matthew, mark, michael, mickey etc until someone takes it up as their loved one. Its then that something really astonishing happens, the spirit person reels off a whole speil of how the like the new curtains in the lounge down to the sitters new hair do, they remember being given presents in life and items placed in the coffin after death and what kind of dogs they had all through their life etc etc, yet 5 mins ago they couldnt remember their name?? how does this work?

Re: Mediums
All mediums work differently, its not the spirit that is confused, it can be the mediums link, as to how strong it is & sometines spirit talk quickly because they need to get across what they are there for, so it can be difficult.
If it is a room full of people aswell, if there is more than one spirit waiting with the same name, we need to establish were to go to make the contact, i have green arrows flash over peoples heads & when i make the link, spirit step forward. Sometimes if we are not certain, we ask the question, then eliminate & find the strongest link. Sometimes its a vague question, when the link is established, it then flows.
All depends on the situation, the strength of the link, the clarity of the spirit. Sometimes we can question, but normally they relay to us the message they want getting across & dont want to co operate with an answer & question, it doesnt work that way. We are vessels for spirit to channel through, not there to question, so dont be dissapointed if a medium cant answer your questions, that doesnt mean the link isnt correct, spirit are in charge, all depends on the situation & whats needed.
Spirit know what you are seeking & should channel through a medium your answer, without asking the question.

Re: Mediums
Hi willieonebat,that's a cool name"
I think if you have a so called gift like being a medium, you do not need props like ouija boards, cards. These things were used in 1800s when Magicians used them in magic shows.
You say that your friend upset about her experience, but was the medium right or wrong with the info??

Re: Mediums
Some yes, some no,but don't you think that it is bad to use the ouija board.this medium has a lot of young people to see her.it could encourage them to use one and as you know these things can be dangerous in the wrong hands.
