Re: Mediums
I would have said that all mediums are judged on their performance Dix, and it is written in the scriptures that Jesus was purported to have said, "by their works you shall know them".
Like any product that is advertised on TV, I always say that a good one sells itself. So it is the same with mediums, the content of their deliverance when giving in service will draw people into their environment, and word of mouth will ensure that the flow continues unabated. Spirit will see to that, so there is no need for anyone to continually sing their own praises - as some mediums tend to do.
I have never looked on my spiritual work as a burden, or taken anything for granted, and if it has been hard at times it is because I have made it so. I have always found that interaction with the closeness of spirit to be an extremely uplifting experience myself.
I have had some beautiful memories of the experiences I have been so privileged to have had, and would wish that everybody could be so lucky.

Re: Mediums
I agree with you Fullhouse, when you get talking to some of the top mediums they are so much in love with themselves it can be so boring and repetative, now, you get the ordinary medium as some peolpe call them they will sit and talk with you and give you all the help they can.
I also have met so many beautiful people in Spiritualism that when I think about it I get so overwhelmed I have been so lucky.
A few years ago I met one beautiful soul we became firm friends she helps me when I am feeling low and even when I am not.
I affectionately call her Sis.I'm sure that in our lifetime we meet such a lot of special people but we are very lucky if we meet just that one very special one.and she sure is that

Re: Mediums
I am with you there Willieonebat. I am a firm beliver that they are very few people in life you can realy trust & realy call a friend & when they do they leave a footprint in your life that will never fade & will last a lifetime. I recently had a point in my life where i needed guidance & the one person who was able to help me was a very close friend of mine... Diane King. She helped me on a spiritual level. it certanly was a turning point for me. She is by far the best medium I have ever worked with.
