How can i get involved with investigations?

I guess the question speaks for its self but How can we get involved with investigations? Either with a group like you or on our own?

Has anyone got anything else to add?

Well they say the first rule of investigating is not to do it alone, so try and join a team or get one made up first.

If you are going to join an existing team it helps if you have something you can bring into the team, for example, each memeber of S.P.I has their own role and the team would not function efficiently without all of them.

To start up your own team you will need some form of photographic equipment, some team members including sensitives or better yet a medium, and a location.

Despite popular belief, graveyards are not the top place to go investigating. Not only is there laws against photographing graves and trespassing in churchyards but your very unlikely to find anything there anyway. Our research has led us to believe that spirits reside in places they were at their happiest when alive.

I hope this information has been helpful to you.

Hi S.P.I One of your events is Newton Park Hotel

live with Phil Whyman they say how it is very haunted , that a girl has been seen several times in room 120 and ghostly shadows in the basments ,
people screaming and being touched and a ghost of a little boy has been seen in the basment by 15 people at the same time in a vigil a mist has been filmed of a lady coming down the stairs in a Taffiter dress and a piano playing and there is no piano in the building all herd by 20 people on a vigil. Would you say this is one of the most haunted places you have been to ?

Hi Tech.

I was at Newton park when the SPI team did the investigation there.

It was fantastic...despite some very, very scary goings on. I did a write up so that I could remember everything but I never did get it typed up.

We went to the Basement and everyone on seperate occasions saw/heard/felt something even those who are not sensitive like me...the mediums and sensitives could see a face on a wall. The rest of us couldn't until we looked through a camcorda's lense. Sorry about the poor spelling, that's one reason I never got round to the write up, but if you want to know more like when we went to room 120 let me know.

Gold Seraph, If you want to type the write up and post it as a thread on the forum somewhere i would be very glad for you to do so, we always love to hear back from anyone who comes to our events so we can get an idea of how enjoyable their experience is.

P.S. Don't worry about the spelling, your only human!

As i said in the member's area, i'd love to hear some more about the place especialy as were going back there soon.

In the "Research" area there is a post about the secret garden, would love to see what you know about it and the building in there.
