Rods research on ghostsamongus.net

The team at ghostsamongus.net

Hi. I read your article/explanation and found it interesting and believable. Question: Do you think that the human eye sees insects(as flying rods) in the same way?
My wife and sister-in law have both seen "flying rods"....and of course, insects! What would be the explanation be for seeing a rod, as opposed to an insect?

Hi there, and welcome to the forum!
What exactly did they see, was it the rod like insect with a membrane down both sides? Was it travelling fast and did they get a good look or was it just a glimpse in the corner of the eye?

I have seen you perception on Rods, & would like to hear from others who beleieve in them. Forgive me Richard, but this so far is a one way perception.
Just because you have a possible explination for this phenomina, doesn't necassarily mean it is the answer. I actualy believe in them.
There is data both on the TV & the web that would put doubt into your logic. I carn't tell you the exact location of the evidence I found as it was some time ago. I will try to find it, but in the mean time, have look yourself, it isnt hiden, there is a lot of data on this subject.
Anyway. I am ot going to force my views & opinions onto everyone else. research it yourselves & post your findings on this forum, we would all like to see evidence both fore & against.

I understand what you are saying bmphoto and I used to believe in rods too, but if you reduce the shutter speed on your video camera you can film them. Nats swarming in the light are great for this.
