What is your favourite Paranormal TV Show?
What is your favourite?
I am not really sure at the moment, they all come accross as just being entertainment programs rather then actual reserach.

Re: What is your favourite Paranormal TV Show?
I don't rate any of them either because they do not show the true face of Spiritualism or investigations into the paranormal.
Having said that I do like to watch Ghost Whisperer, and Medium. Or similar such material, because it does give you a better idea of what truly happens with spirit contact/clairaudience/clairvoyance/and clairsentience.
The paranormal shows on TV - I agree, seem mainly to entertain and there have been too many dissentions of late with the performances of those mentioned here.
I do not really care for the word 'paranormal' anyway - after 30 years I look upon it as more 'normal' than anything else.

Re: What is your favourite Paranormal TV Show?
My biggest problem with paranormal TV shows is they just investigate, but not scientificaly. They never come to any conclusions except for it was scary. I want to see new ideas, when the glass moves around the table on MH, why does it move? Hopefully they will soon get more intresting.

I used to enjoy the American series Ghost Hunters, which followed the American paranormal group TAPS. They definately followed scientific methods and quickly told people if they thought a locations was not haunted!

Re: What is your favourite Paranormal TV Show?
I have to agree with DR. Ghost Hunters featuring TAPS from the US was the best and seemingly the most factual and scientific programme I've seen so far. It actually does appear to be genuine coverage of a parnormal group warts and all and a conclusion of paranormal causes for things that occur is only come to if there is absolutely no other possible causes and enough evidence has been obtained for all the team to agree on this verdict.
I voted for Haunted Homes on the poll, as although it's still essentially an entertainment programme, IMO it's the best out of those listed. However I'm not convinced by Mia Dolan and it seems Chris French just point blank refuses to believe in anything paranormal.
I can't bear to watch MH as I cannot take it seriously since the majority of so-called paranormal incidents have been debunked.
Cheers,
KJ

Re: What is your favourite Paranormal TV Show?
I do have to admit to like watching Ghost Whisperer (very weedy but addictive), Medium, Supernatural, Afterlife, Primeval, Dr Who and Torchwood.
Did anyone see the mini series of The Lost Room - I wouldn't class it as paranormal (neither are Primeval, Dr Who or Torchwood really) but this was really good and had a totally original storyline.
I'm also watching that Heros at the mo which is also very good!

Re: What is your favourite Paranormal TV Show?
I knew MH didn't hold the same fan base as it used to but i am surpised at just how unpopular it has become. I agree tho it is very hard to watch it and believe something paranormal is happening. They have yet to find a team member who isn't constantly terrified.

Re: What is your favourite Paranormal TV Show?
So far Colin Fry is in the lead, but this amount of votes would hardly be conclusive. Come on guys let us know which TV show you watch! (if any)
