Do you believe because you have seen or have you researched and read the'evidence'. I am also a believer, not worked out how or why yet, thats why I come on here, hopefully to learn.

Hi Joanne,
I have always been interested in this subject. first began with reading and watching horror movies and the like and grew from there. I then began experiencing for myself. I never doubted - even though now i still look for proof that is just to help back up my own beliefs and that of others.
I have been on investigations and am now looking to start my own group.
I feel that there is a book in me dying to come out (excuse the punn)..so thought why not on my favourite subject the paranormal.
Back in 1994 i did a thesis on life after death and met and interviewed many different people including theologians. The latter type were unable to answer my questions in a way that i could understand regarding the supernatural - so i have spent a long time trying to work out things for myself, most of that based on learning from others and my own experiences and inner beliefs.

Hi Defender.. I totaly agree 100% in life after death and would never be dissuaded otherwise,I also believe there are some spirits who do come to see us because they choose too , and othere who just want to settle in and have a quiet "life" as they did when alive on earth...Bx

I quite simply meant (in my opinion ) that spirits may take on their personality from life on earth, and some would take longer to communicate with their loved ones than the more forthcoming spirits (who were more confident ).
I dont feel the need for any deeper explaination as I think we can get to "bogged down" with complicated ones ,therefore end up not believing in any thing at all ..Which would be upsetting for me personally...Bx
