Re: Grace Dieu
Hi All
I was over during the day at Grace Dieu on Friday. Having been all over the sight with my EMF detector i decided to follow the stream. It lead me to an old bridge at the back of Grace Dieu Manor, i had some very high reading there!!. I then when back to the ruins as it was starting to get dark. There was not a lot happening and it was about 9.00pm so i decided to go to the bridge at the back of the Manor. I think if you are visiting Grace Dieu give it a try up there! I captured some strange things on my camera.
Has anyone else been to that part ?

Re: Introduce Yourself Here!
That is a very impressive bridge, i have only been there once but we had an intresting evening, got some good pictures too.
At least 3 of us heard a voice saying something like "teresa" more then once too. It's a very intresting location and i would like to do more work there.

Re: Introduce Yourself Here!
Thankyou for that, i did not realise that the “bridge” you have spoken about on the forum was the same one I was investigating!
I had no prior knowledge of the bridge, I was just surveying the whole area.
When I first got to that area I came from the pub way through the fence, there is an apple tree there and a small path crossroads. That is were I first got some EMF readings, then from there I followed the signals to the bridge. Do you know the history of the bridge? It looks as if used to be an entrence to the Manor.
Any sceptic would have to admit that this no coincidence
I would like to know how a sceptic person explains this ?

Re: Introduce Yourself Here!
Hello,
My name is Rosie,
I live in the Swadlincote area, always been interested in the paranormal since i can remember. I have been to lots of locations but i have never really seen anything or experienced anything that i could say gave me evidence of the paranormal.Last night i came along to your town hall vigil and i thought it was brilliant by far the best i have ever been to. It was very professional and at the same time very interesting. Congratulations on a great paranormal team. I felt really welcome.
Hysteria.

Re: Introduce Yourself Here!
Hello there.
I am unfortunatly not in the UK. I am in Canada. My name is Dave, I grew up in the Spiritulist faith..trained as a healer and medium when younger. I did let it go for sometime. In the last few years went back to what I enjoyed besides martial arts. I formed CHAPS. The Canadian Haunting and Paranormal Society. nothing pro. Just enthusiasts.
We have a couple good ones under our belt but are not pushing anything.
I hope to make it to UK next year to visit a school I tutor there in martial arts. I'd love to make some connections and see some interesting "haunts"

Re: Introduce Yourself Here!
Welcome aboard, it's great that people from overseas are joining this forum and showing a big intrest, and it would be great if you could visit Swadlincote and its surrounding "haunts" when you next visit England.
