Re: Special Away Trip

The only filming I think will be with the crew, but there might be a few photographers there. I supose it depends on if there will be any celebrities attending.

As I have mentioned, they will be doing a press release to the national papers.

This theatre is reported to be the most active theatre in the Ambassador group.

Ghost-busters take to West End stage
by JAMES BRINDLE
A 'GHOST-BUSTING' group is set to make its debut in London's West End - by spending Hallowe'en night in a supposedly haunted theatre.

Swadlincote Paranormal Investigation will be spending the evening at The Fortune Theatre in London's West End.

Members will be joined by theatre management and staff from owner The Ambassador Theatre Group.

They will start the evening by watching the thriller The Woman In Black in order to get into the Hallowe'en spirit, and will then attempt to spend the night unscathed.

The investigation will commence with a walk round the theatre which will be conducted by a medium who will identify 'paranormal hot spots'.

If any alleged spirits are discovered, the medium will protect the party and may also be able to help in 'evicting' it from the venue.

The event is being held in order to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital's Theatre for Theatres Appeal, which is an initiative to raise £4 million to fund two new state of the art operating theatres.

The theatres will be used to treat children with life-threatening neurological and craniofacial conditions.

Investigation co-ordinator for Swadlincote Paranormal Investigation Stephen Giffiths and Simon Deacon: "We feel honoured that we have been chosen to host this event in such a high profile location.

"To be able to work on stage in London's West End is what some people dream of - but maybe not quite in the way we will be on Hallowe'en night.

"Nevertheless, we are really looking forward to it and wish all those that are participating the very best and hope they manage to make someone else's dream come true by raising the much-needed funds for such a worthy cause."

Donations to the appeal can be made by visiting www.justgiving. com/atgfrightnight, or by sending a cheque made payable to GOSHCC - T4T Appeal to Debbie Parker, Theatres for Theatres Appeal, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, 40 Bernard Street, London, WC1N 1LE.

Cash payments can be made by visiting any Royal Bank of Scotland branch quoting G004/ATG-FT and paying into account number 12667663 and sort code 16-00-37.
