MP3 player for shop?

Does anyone know here if there are any decent (and semi-cheap) MP3 players that could be plugged into a home-style stereo receiver? I've got TONS of MP3s burned to disc, and would love to be able to put in a disc with a hundred songs and listen for hours while working on my truck in the shop, instead of having to change the CD in the player every half hour. I suppose I COULD just wire in a portable MP3 player from the headphone jack into an input on the reciever, but if a small component piece is available, I'd rather go that route.

Keith,

The cheapest route is going to be a DVD player like above. It plays MP3's and has Component (RCA) O/P's for the Audio.

Thanks for the link, Russell! Actually, that's exactly what I was looking for, and the price ain't bad either. I almost bought a small boombox yesterday at Walmart for $48 with MP3 capability, but there were no outputs, so I'd have had to remove the back and wire the outputs into it manually. I think I might just go ahead and pick this up.

MudinMan: you can buy in-dash CD players now with MP3 support....or at least an input jack so you can just plug your portable player into it.

one thing about mp3s...if you have songs with a high bit rate they will sound better but you will not be able to store as many as you can with low bit rate songs.

That's actually why I wanted a player to actually play MP3 CDs, since I've literally got hundreds of CDs, each with a dozen full albums on them. I could simply keep a couple dozen CDs at the shop, and hardly ever run out of something new to listen to. I don't want a small portable that only allows you to to store MP3s in memory...those small portable units are impractical for the shop anyway.

I've got and MP3 player in my truck. It plays CDs and MP3s. I get over 100 MP3s on a disc. It's a great way to go.
