Re: hammer and dollie set Sure!! - but first let me explain how I work.
This is a little saying that I was told years ago and it has ALWAYS held true.
You have three options:
1) you can have it done cheap
2) you can have it done well
3) you can have it done fast
you only get to pick two!!
Seriously though, I do mostly restoration work and my paint jobs start at around $5k and take about two years. That's right - 2 years. So in my case you only get 1 out of 3. I'm finishing up a '55 chevy right now that I've been doing for longer than I care to mention. Most of my clients think I'm a nut job (and they may be right!:p) - but after their car is done they all say they wouldn't have been happy with anything else.
I was watching that show "Rides" on TLC a couple weeks ago about the Ridler award and I got a lot of satisfaction when one of the guys said that he had worked on his car for 17 years!! Not that he had owned it for that long - that it had taken a professional shop that long to complete!! He had owned the car for close to 40 years. And he (or maybe one of the other owners up for the Ridler) estimated that he had spent over $500,000!! Suddenly, I felt pretty sane!
