Mine is a 1969 F100 4x4. It has a 360...or at least that is what it came with. I still have to do the dowel measurement to determine if it's a 360 or 390. When I bought it I was told it was a 390.
NP435 transmission. 4.10 gears. Still trying to figue out what all that stuff is about (like whether it's DANA 44, 60, 24, ???, front/rear) I'm working on that still. Anyway, after God, family and country comes my 1969 F100. I enjoy learning and working on it. Never was a "mechanic", have always worked on vehicles, but never real mechanics. It is definitely a learning experience.

I have been working on my 2by so much havent realy checked the 4x4 forums sorry///i gota a 70' F-250 highboy Dana 44hd front Warn manual locks dana 60 rear 4.10.1 gears bored out 390...4spd....locked rear....umm...36's.....cant realy think of anything else....

Did you swap out the bulbs for 90/100 watt clear/blue bulbs yet. Oh man what a difference. How about wiring in the relays yet. Brighter yet.
