Re: 4x owners?
Hello Was looking around this Forum and Found the 4x4 Section. I just got mine a few days ago been working on the Inside Clutch Assembly. Had to replace the whole assembly pedels and all. Finally got it all together today after having to run back to the Wreaking yard a few times.
Not sure much about it at this time just what I have listed below.
1967 F250
Got a New Process 205 Transfer case
I was told from the guy I bought it from it had a 390. Will have to do the dowel test and see what it says.
Not sure what Front and Rear ends it has couldn't find the tags.
Still trying to find out what tranny it has the reverse is towards the dash. Im guessing its a Borg Warner T18, but not sure yet.
Got to work on the clutch stuff under the truck got a broken bolt in the block got to remove it.

Re: 4x owners?
Take a look at http://www.oldsmobility.com/F100/transmissions-manual.htm It's still getting developed, but there's some good info there for you about your tranny.

Re: 4x owners?
Thanks Keith thats how I found your forum here I saw your page on the FTW fourm.
I saw the Tranny page haven't had time to clean the side of the tranny to check it.
When I find out more I will let you all know more about it.
Im going to post pictures of my Pickup later online.
I could use more info on how to tell info on the Rear end since it doesn't have the tags

Re: 4x owners?
If reverse is all the way up it is a T18.

Re: 4x owners?
If you rear diff is a front loader it is a Ford 9 inch. A few 67s had a Dana 60. I don't know if those ever came in a 4x4 but they are a rear loader. The front should be a Dana 44. The Dana axles usually have the model number cast into one of the lower reinforcing ribs. It will just be a number like 44 or 60.

Re: 4x owners?
69ranger, there should be 2 or 3 screws that secure the front drums onto the hub.
Hey MudinMan4x4 I was wondering what happen to ya. I haven't got to spend a whole heck of a lot of time online myself.
