eBay forum?
What do you think about the idea of having a forum just to catch those interesting eBay finds that we happen to stumble upon?

Re: eBay forum?
Well, we've just been posting those in the Parts for Sale topic...but maybe a separate E-bay topic wouldn't be a bad idea. What do you guys think?

Re: eBay forum?
No offense to anyone here, but if I got my eye on something on ebay that I am definately thinking about getting, I "might" bring it to your attention after the end of the auction. =D

Re: eBay forum?
Good point, I'd do the same.
Ya know, I've won some great auctions with no other bidders because the seller mispelled something. Now I also search with some mispelled key words.

Re: eBay forum?
I make my eBay searches simple. I browse the entire category and sort by lowest price-up. That way I only bid on stuff I can afford.
This only means I miss the auctions placed in the wrong category. I'll live. If the seller doesn't know what they're selling, they might not even be selling what I want unless they include pictures galore.
The point of the eBay forum would then be to post items you AREN'T planning on bidding on or to share good and bad experiences with sellers of Ford truck stuff. If there's a bad apple, we can gang up on him and say, "straighten up or else." If there's a good seller we can get some good deals, maybe outside of auction, or be notified on the forums of things he's about to list.
Also, it can be used as a venue to say, "hey, I'm listing this stuff next week, go bid if you want it, if it doesn't sell, make me an offer."
