HOW TO POST IMAGES IN THIS FORUM
At the present time, the FORDification website or forums do not support direct image uploads...in other words, you can't upload pictures from your computer to this forum. In order to have pictures appear with your message, the images have to be posted on a server somewhere online. Once your pictures are up online, just go to the picture in your browser, and then look up in the address bar to get the web address (URL) for the image. It should start with 'http' and end with '.jpg' or 'gif', like this: http://www.oldsmobility.com/F100/images/67F1002L.jpg . Copy the address, open a new thread in this forum and click the 'Insert image' button. A window will pop up labeld 'Image URL'. This is where you will paste the web address (URL) you've got copied. Just hit 'OK' in that window, type a little something about your truck, and then hit 'Preview' button to see how your message (and picture, hopefully) will appear before actually submitting it to the forum. If it looks OK, just hit the 'Submit new topic' button. If your picture does not appear, verify the URL and make sure it looks like the example posted above. That's it!

Re: HOW TO POST IMAGES IN THIS FORUM
Keith,
I see you had to move my pic to your server. How did you resize it? I tried to put another jpg on. On my web page the jpg is listed as 300 X 225 when is opens in the forum it is 2048 X 1536 ?

Re: HOW TO POST IMAGES IN THIS FORUM
The jpegs on your webpages haven't been resized...they've just been shrunk down into a thumbnail. The actual image is still 2048 X 1536, you just told the browser (Netscape or Internet Explorer) to only show it as 300 X 225. That's the reason your page loads so incredibly slow...even though it APPEARS at a glance that the images are smaller, they're still huge pictures, and visitors have to download the entire 2048 X 1536 image. After the large image is on a visitors computer, their web browser resizes it down to the 300 x 225. To see what I mean, right-click on any of the images on your webpage and choose View Picture. The full-size image will appear as it really is.
In order to resize photos, you'll see a photo editor. There are millions of different types and levels of complexity. At the top of the food chain is Photoshop (but probably more than you need), but you could also use PaintShop, ThumbsPlus (a great image viewer with good basic photo-editing functions) or do a search on Google for a hundred other choices.

Re: HOW TO POST IMAGES IN THIS FORUM
Keith,
How does one upload a picture to a website online? I don't have a website, so I don't know how I'd be able to upload right now. My files are also huge, so I have to re-size them at the home computer. Anyways, I'll be taking some photos tommorrow hopefully of the psycho power sterring thing.

Re: HOW TO POST IMAGES IN THIS FORUM
Well, a good spot to post pics is Webshots.com. CLICK HERE to get started signing up a free account, good for posting up to 240 pictures. Once you post your pictures to Webshots, you can get the URL and post them here.
In Netscape, right-click on the picture and choose 'Copy Image Location' (which is the image's URL) and then paste that URL into a message here. In Internet Explorer, right-click on the image and choose 'Properties'. In the window that pops up, highlight the 'Address/URL', and hit Control C (which is the keyboard shortcut for 'copy') and then paste (Control V) the URL into a message here.
You can include a link to your Webshots gallery in your sig, if you want, too.
Hope this helps. Drop me an e-mail if you need more help and I'll do what I can.

Re: HOW TO POST IMAGES IN THIS FORUM
Ok, got a newbie question. How do you delete a photo out of an album in webshots? I can see how you would move it to another album or delete the album all together. Thanks!
