Re: Photo's are enroute
I was browsing through your photos looking for the come-along jury-rigging but didn't see that one...or am I just my usual non-observant self?

Re: Photo's are enroute
The come-along photos are there. I'm ain't the best with a camera. If you notice the power steering box is secured tightly with some red wire. It was real cold out this weekend, so I didn't do as much as I wanted. Got the cab cleaned out, started prepping the seat for removal... the bolts are rusted on the underside. So, I'm spraying them liberally every day with gunk, wd-40 type stuff (can't think of the name) and tapping them to hopefully loosen them up.

Re: Photo's are enroute
The previous owner twice removed put on the power steering. ZDid not know how to do it and cut out the fenderwell and the spring mount as well. He put it back in and used the come-along to secure it in place. The previous owner drove it that way from 1995 to 2001.
I am going to Germany (Army), so I gave it a soldier friend of mine and he will be taking it to his home in M ississippi to work on. I hate to get rid of it, but know he'll take care of it.

Re: Photo's are enroute
69110, I was going to tell you what I really thought of the truck but decided to be more posative. I think passing this one on will be your chance to get a better one when you get back. There are lots of them out there. And just a word of experienced advice, Find a rust free one to start with. It only costs a little more compared to all the work it takes to bring a rusty one back up.
