Nice start extra parts and all, looks like all you need is a little time. I wish I had a place big enough to to take my truck apart and redo it.

Did you buff out those headlight dims? They look great. Also I was wondering if that is a 4 speed floor. Something doesn't look quite like I remember it there but I haven't had one apart for a few years. Are you going to repaint it the original color that is on the firewall? I am thinking of two-toning my crewcab with that color and the white since it seems to have the aqua color under the present layer.
I have a friend with a 58 Galaxy converable painted that color and it is a jaw dropper.

actually willow I havent touched the trim yet. I have to pop out a few dings in them and then shine em up. I dont plan on making it to original. I was thinking of going with some wild a$$ paint job, 351w and a mustang style 5 speed.(close performance gearing).

The 4-spd floors had a removeable transmission hump. His truck was originally equipped with an automatic or 3-spd. A previous owner has seriously butchered the floorpan to fit the 4-spd in there. If the truck was a factory 4-spd, the transmission hump area would have looked more like this:

yes mine was a 3 speed originally, and keith hit the nail on the head. The previos owner did one helluva good butchering job. I think he used a hamer and a dull chisel.
