Lookin' good, Jon! What did you use for carb linkage to the gas pedal?
You know, I've been contemplating doing my truck in an all-black motif like yours, but after seeing yours, I'm almost starting to re-evaluate that. For some reason the grille painted to match the body just looks a little funny....maybe I'll try a dark grey, just to offset it a little bit, and a few similar-colored accents down the side.

welll It actually looks good the pic isnt good the grille is alittle darker but it actually gives it alitte more of a stout stance i think but what do i know

I riged up the throttle on one by just using a piece of light cable and some little cable clamps. It was supposed to be temporary but has been working for 20 years now.
By the way I love those old highboys and I really like them when they look like they get used for what they were intended for. I am with Keith on the body colored grille though. I like them white or chrome but that is just me.
