Window rattler kits

Has any one installed one of these? The only one I have found is from Motorhaven. $130 so I want to make sure this is what I actualy want. If I understand this right this is the kit that replaces the rubber\ felt at the bottom of the door's window opening, Keeps the rain from running down the glass and into your door.

Merlin
I havn't replaced these yet but I will be needing a set. By the qty, part numbers listed and description given this kit should contain
QTY 2 "8121546" These would be the seal for the winow track front that would mount in the back of the wing window division bar or down the run for the front of the door glass (1 for each door)
QTY 2 "8121508" These would be the seal used for across the top and down the back of the window would mount in track in door for door glass ( 1 for each door)
QTY 2 Pair "8121452-53" One pair of these would be the window seals you describe in your post (1 inner and 1 outer= 1 pair) kit states 2 pair which would be enough for both doors.
Again I need and have not purchased these yet. I don't know the quality difference in aftermarket vendors products but I do see this same kit(contents) listed in the LMC catalog and it shows L=112.44 and sell=89.95
? same stuff just not sure of quality. Maybe someone that has purchased one or the other will post which kit may be the best?

I got the LMC one. It is of good quality. Don't know about Motorhaven's, but Ken gets all his stuff from Dennis Carpenter so if you are going to go that route go straight to DC and avoid putting money into a POS website.

Maybe that's why Ken gets so irritated when somebody posts a reference to Dennis Carpenter. If you go there direct, Ken doesn't get his cut. emoticon

I got a complete kit (door gaskets and window stuff) from Concours for my 67. It all seems to be of good quality EXCEPT those little window rattler deals. They just don't look like they are going to hold up and I had difficulty fitting them at the point where they meet the window runner gasket. Otherwise, I'm satisfied. Good luck.

the JC Whitney stuff is good with the exception of the window slide felts. they are ok, but not as good as original.

the inner and outer felts are good , and the door seals are also good.
