It's a brake failure warning light. You can probably find one at the wrecking yard or on eBay. Nice looking truck, btw and great looking kid.

This is what it looks like:

The chrome bezel just rotates 90-degrees and pops out. When you hit the salvage yard be sure to get the spring too.

On my truck that little hole houses a small horn button that the previous owner installed when he added the dinky steering wheel.........lol......Dt.
