I need to connect the green wire from the Sun tach to the negative side of the coil, but as you might guess my coil is not marked + or -. It is marked but not in the + or - that I was hoping for. I'm looking in my Chiltons ha ha , but I can't even find coil listed. I guess they don't go bad often. I have been told that the old coils should be replaced every 2 years or so.
Is there a good way to tell what side is the neg side?
