351m to a 351w


i am a female that is gonna try to fix my truck myself so please explain step by step..thank you it has a 351m, granny 4: i have a 351w to put in it...what else do i need

You'll need quite a bit, the two engines are not similar at all other than in displacement.
You'll need the bell housing for the 351W and I'm pretty sure the engine towers aren't the same. Join www.fordification.com and ask in the forums there. This runboard forum is just a backup and isn't used all that often.

fordification has some great resources that'll help you in your engine swap.

first of all what year is the truck,, second I had a 76 truck with a 351w and put a 351 c in it ,,,the mounts were the same didnt have to change out any mounts,,, the clevland and the modified were the same block design so the mounts should be and line up the same, unless they changed the design in different years I can only speak for the 76 truck year.
