posticon Newbie in OR

Hi, all. Just got myself a '68 F250 Ranger Camper Special, turq. (sorry, don't know the Ford name for it--yet) with white roof and American Racing 8 spoke mags. Was 360, now 30 over 390 with a 272/.533 cam, Edelbrock Performer, 625 Holley DP, Hooker headers, Unilite dist., and 3" exhaust shouting thru a Flowmaster and glasspack. Lovely music, already set off a Honda's alarm (ahem, hee hee). 23k on the engine, 17k on the rebuilt C6 (stage two shift kit, judging from the jolt). The engine may have a potentially serious problem due to some skimping on the part or the guy who had it done 2 owners ago. Lots of plans for it, the doors anr roof need panting (the rest was redone--?) some trim needs replacing, like to get some later door trims, the upper side moulding, fit the orginal West Coast mirrors, better seats (anyone else see the Cad' power seats in the F250 on Ebay?), I haven't a clue where to put the sound system...anyway, great to have a Ford again, my first car was a '64 Galaxie 500/XL hardtop.

Welcome Scott glad to have you on board. Seems as though we have something in common I too have or should I say my wife has a 91 Toyota Cressida and I have to admit that its one nice car rides and drives like big car and handles like a sports car. She would not trade it for nothing its her baby like my 69 F100 is mine.
