What tranny is it?

I have a 77 or 78 ford econoline 150 with a 4spd od and was wondering if anyone can tell me what kind it is?

Here are the numbers:
E14HHCD3497
w/b 124
color J
body VB
trans B
axle 14

I think it is a toploader overdrive. The knob shows 1,2,3,OD and it is in a van. I was thinking of putting this in my 69 f-100 for mileage. Any help would by appreciated, Thanks.

Thats a "Clark" 4 speed OD. Was pretty common in the 80-86 trucks I know for sure. I knew a guy with an 80 F-100 that had a 300 and a clark 4 spd OD. Ran great. If your bellhousing is the same as a 300 or a 302, which I think it is, it should bolt right up. I think anyway...
It might not be the strongest 4 speed in the world, but it was used in vans and trucks. Also, I note the van seems to have had a 351 also, judging from the VIN, so it should be able to handle the power. I kicked around planting one in my truck, but I was kind of leary being mine is a heavier f-250. Would probably hold up though, being I don't dog the truck at all. I have the T-18 4 speed as it is. No OD...emoticon Of course, the T-18 is nearly as heavy duty as you can get...One reason I kind of hate to get rid of it...But I would like an OD... MK
