Another disc brake ?
I found a 77? front end at local junkyard. I have the tech article from other site but will the front end bolt up excatly? Does $150 seem like a good deal for the front end (i beams, radius arms, coil springs, spindles, rotors, calipers)? I have a couple others say $250-$350 for the same thing. Thanks for any help.

Doug: I'm assuming you're getting that front end specifically for the disc brake setup? As long as the front end is complete and in good shape, $150 is a decent price. I'd go for it.
Personally, I didn't like the tech article you're referring to, but that's just me. I'll be putting together one for this site in the very near future, as I get started putting my front end back together, so I can get some good pictures as I go. The front end will bolt up just fine. About the only mods needed will be to the front brake lines, to make use of the disc brake proportioning valve.
The front end I'm using is out of a '79. I posted some pics on PAGE 22 when I was dropping it out. Some of my notes there might come in handy.

I knew you were doing the discs but didnt know about the ibeams and etc. I didnt really see the answer so I asked.I talked to my dad about front end, he said wait a little while longer and we'll go to other side of town and go to jundard role.
The tech article is on FTE( Iknow ). thanks for the reply's.
