Truning Radius

Can I adjust the bumpsteer to get a better turning radius with out changing the frame geometry? I think it can be done as long as nothing binds or rubs.

Re: Truning Radius

The bump stops are cast into the spindle and I-beam, and contact each other at full turns. The only way to increase your turning radius would be to grind away at the bumps, making them smaller and thereby allowing more travel before contact. However, before doing so you might want to check your tire clearance and make sure that increasing your turn radius won't make your tires rub on the frame or sheetmetal, and that your brake hoses are long enough to stretch the additional amount.
