68 crewcab
I am still in the Black Hills. I stopped by an old aquaitence yesterday to check on some A and T tin he had out front and ended up visiting for a couple hours. When the subject gets around to 67-72 Fords he tells me he has a 68 crewcab outback. Well it is about as solid and rust free as any 68 I have seen but one back door is rough and the hood had blown open once and went over the cab. It has a 390, 4 speed, bendix power steering, power brakes and new tires on aluminum slots. It even has the 390 emblems on the fenders. He asked $1000 but I am going to meet him for breakfast this morning and try to negotiate. Supposedly the 390 is tired.

Re: 68 crewcab
I got to hear it run. It sounded good except fot the typical missing donut on the passenger side. I still haven't struck a deal. He is also trying to pawn off a 72 F-100 long bed with the 240/3 speed laying in the back. It is mostly rough except for a real decent bed and tailgate.
