swapping beds
Will a stepside bed swap on to a 69 f100 which came factory with a SWB? Are there any modifications I would need to make?

There were longbed stepsides and shortbed stepsides. You'd obviously have to use a bed which matches the wheelbase of your truck. Other than that it's basically a direct bolt-on.
Oh, and in case you haven't heard, everybody here has moved over to the new forums at http://fordification.com/forum. Just thought I'd let you know in case you weren't aware. You might get a bit lonely hanging out over here.  This board is only going to be up long enough for me to archive certain threads onto the new forum, and then this one will be deleted permanently.
