Por 40
Do any of y'all know if anywhere carries por40 in stock? I'm just hoping there is somewhere around so won't have to order it from the site (I need a lot). Auto place, paint shop maybe? I was going to go to their site and serch for vendors, but I was having trouble finding it (kept getting pages in spanish: ¿Porqué 40 Días?:)) ) Thanks!

Re: Por 40
Their site is http://www.por15.com/ if that's what you're looking for. I think you'd probably just have to start calling around some of the normal parts stores in your neck of the woods and see if they carry it or can get it. I just went directly through their site for mine.

Re: Por 40
Maybe you could lube it up with some WD-15. lol
I haven't used any of the stuff but some of the test results (biased) I have read would lead me to try the Eastwood rust encapsualtor. If their claims are accurate it is a superior product and it won't kill you and every one you know because it doesn't contain isocyanides. There are also other isocyanide products out there like rust bomb and they claim their product to be better because it has more polyurethane solids in it or something.
POR-15 is a proven product and it works, just follow ALL the saftey precautions because it is nasty stuff.

Re: Por 40
I'll bet thats where I got it from!! I switched the 40 and the 15! Ok, I'm not crazy:re) ....well, not entirely.
I've heard of the stuff from Eastwood and ya know, I saw some of their "chasis black" paint at a local auto place, I'll have to see if they carry any of their other stuff. Worth looking into. Thanks!

Re: Por 40
It's POR15, and you can get it off of their web site. I have used it several times on mustang bodies to chassis. It cost around $100.00 a gallon, and I suggest that you also invest in the metal prep to clean anything that you apply it to. Avoid spraying POR15 unless you wear protective clothing, as this product won't wash off with anything, it has to wear off. Be sure and do exactly what the instructions say on resealing the can or it will cure in the can.
