Anybody else in Louisiana?

Hey, is there anyone else out there in Louisiana? I am located in Leesville/ Fort Polk area. I'm about 45 miles West of Alexandria, 50 miles North of Lake Charles and about an hour and a half from Beaumont, Texas.

Just wondering if there was anyone close to start a trading network with.

I am from East Texas, about 120 miles from Schreveport. Never been to there though. I still consider it within my circle.

Woodville is in Tyler County which is nowhere near Tyler. Gotta love Texas! I grew up in Channelview, just outside Houston. Moved to the East Coast for the Navy.

Texas is OK, lots of old Fords. Unfortunately the humidity here gets to everything and rust can be an issue. Also it is just too hot in the summer. I am trying to figure out a way to go back to Alaska in the summer.

Looks like Van is only about 3 1/2 to 4 hours away from me. It takes me 5 hours on a bad day to get to Dallas. We cruise throught there every couple of months, my wife is attending the Southwest Assembly of God University in Waxahatchie. She does the distance education thing, but has to go there first day of every semester.

We hit i-20 in Shreveport and shoot to Dallas, then to I-35E to Waxahatchie.

Cool. My Wife has only been going a semester. Hopefully will knock out her Associates quick like. I am currently going through Berean School of the Bible and Global University (also an Assembly of God University), except it is all Distance Education, no on campus time required. Makes it easier for me as a soldier doing all the deployment stuff. I just take it with me, mail it in. My goal is to be a licensed minister before retiring so I can go into full time ministry right after retirement.
