July 4th Goodguys- Des Moines-Lets Do It!
The 4th of July Goodguy Show in Des Moines may be the only big show I get to go to this year. It would be slick to have a contingent of midwest 67-72's there from The Fordification Forum.
I have never been to this show in Des Moines-but it's been on my list, and if not that one, then it's the Goodguys show in Columbus the following weekend.
Any other long term planners-winter day dreamers out there?

That's actually something I could probably do...it's close enough. I checked out their site and found the info for this show:

I'd (tentatively) say I can probably be there...and hopefully with my '67, completely reassembled and running.

Literally - I live in a suburb of Des Moines.....
betcha didn't think there were suburbs in Iowa, huh?

whoops...got the due date wrong. I was thinking the due date was the third week of June, but it's the third week of July...so our vacation won't happen for at least a few weeks afterward. That just means I'll be coming there with a wife who's going to be 8-1/2 months pregnant. Of course, that also means that even if my truck is driveable by then (knock on wood) I probably won't be bringing it, since we're going to need transportation that's a little more comfortable for her.

Hey Keith, maybe the little critter will come early and be delivered at the show.lol
My wife rode snowmobiles with me when she was 8 1/2 months preggy and my daughter went for her first ride with me when she was 13 days old. Start 'em young I say.
