Re: Swap meet in Nebraska (season opener)
No, unfortunately, my wife ended up having to work that day, so I had to...er, I mean...GOT to stay home with my son...all day. Not that there's anything WRONG with that, of course!

Re: Swap meet in Nebraska (season opener)
Yes I ended up vending at the meet. I had parted out a couple GM's recently that I had acquired for doners for my diesel el camino
project.I decided it was time to move the stuff I didn't need so I vended. I didn't get to go walk around unless it was to take one of my boys to the restroom. I did buy a set of chrome tube steps for my crew cab from a guy one row over but sold them too as someone came by my booth and showed me more money than I had paid. I wish I had walked around but was glad I sold after I added up the sales.
I did go walk around the K.C. meet a couple weeks ago and bought a handfull of new N.O.S. Ford stuff that I hope to get on EBAY someday???
The stuff I need never surfaces until I
get rid of the vehicle then its all over the place.

Re: Swap meet in Nebraska (season opener)
Keith
Get that kid broke in take him to a swap meet or two. Teach him the family business :))
My boys love going they find every $3.00
hotwheel for sale on the place then they get mad at me when I tell them they can go to Wal-mart to get one for .79
This last time they had a blast because they were in charge of selling one of their used and abused go-cart frames

Re: Swap meet in Nebraska (season opener)
4x4x4, I forgot you were the one with the elky. I ran into a guy here that buys and sells pretty nice ones. He had 3 at the last local swap meet. He lives just about 2 or 3 miles from me. I think he sold one at that swap meet for 6000-7000. I will try and find your e-mail address again and send you some pictures of a very unique one.

Re: Swap meet in Nebraska (season opener)
I'll be leaving in the morning for Chickasha. I had hoped to go tonight but I had too many things to do today. I should get in there around 1:00. If it is big I will have to come back on Friday I guess. I am staying with a friend about 40 miles away.

Re: Swap meet in Nebraska (season opener)
Maybe I will come home with a Model A frame or a 30-31 roadster body ( not likely on my budget ) Also the guy I got this other NOS stuff from at Pate had just bought out another old Ford dealership and he is supposed to be there. It is supposed to be a good buyers meet. I will report in as soon as I get back.
