Registered & reserved for Des Moines Goodguys July2-4
Well I am officially registered for the July 4th weekend Goodguys show and have reservations at Quality Inn in West Des Moines. No idea of where I'll be parked as I've never been to this event, but I'm planning on being there. Hope to meet a few of the mid-west Fordification crew there.
Hey Keith are going to be able to attend ? I remember something about a baby being due that week...

I had my dates wrong. The baby is due the 12th, as of right now...the week after the show. So, I'm going to TRY to make it for sure. Since it'll be the last time we'll get a chance to spend a day away together for a while, I might see if I can find someone to watch our 2-year-old for that weekend and it'll be just Mary and I. I definitely won't have anything to enter, but I'd sure like to be there just to experience it. Considering it's only about a 4-1/2-hour drive, we might be able to swing that. However, obviously it all depends on my wife...we'll PLAN on attending, but that can change in a minute, if you know what I mean. 
I'm definitely looking forward to meeting some of you guys too!

Keith, If your 8 1/2 month pregnant wife will ride 4 1/2 hours each way to a truck show, she would be gearhead wife of the year in my book! You know those little critters can come unexpectedly early.

I'll be the first to admit that Mary is very understanding...and very accomodating. And she's definitely into cars...maybe not as much as I am, but it's there. Our first baby was a week late, so I'm hoping it'll be the same way with this one. I'd really like to be there. I'm sure gonna try!
