You can turn the language filter off in your preferences, if you like. Go to the main page of the forum, select Control Panel at the top, and on the next screen, choose "Change miscellaneous settings". Scroll down until you see ""Override board profanity filter", and choose the last option to the right, which is "Always off".

Let me apologize for using wrong words. “bastard", " crazy/ weird " Those are not the best words I used to translate bad words in Chinese that were in the film.
I deleted many of my postings due to choice of words I used which could/might result misreading my comments.
V: " Words will always retain their power..Words offer means to meaning..."
Therefore, I must be very careful not to use wrong word. Until I can fully understand a word and its usage then I will further post my comments.
If I have someway caused any misunderstanding or offended anyone here, please accept my deepest apology.
Meanwhile, I will keep visiting this forum and reading my be-loved vixens’ comments and laughs.
Thank you for giving me so much joy. I truly love you all.

Dear Domino, I don't beleive you have used any "bad" words... Leda was letting you know if you WANT to see the "bad words" appear, you can alter the settings on Runboard.
I am so glad to have you here, and will happily aide you with your language any way that is helpful. You dont have to be perfect!!!

Dear Venturous,I totally understood Leda and I know she wants me to turn on the filter if I wanted to. I really appreciate her informing me.
The reason of my posting was I am simply angry at myself not knowing deep enough about V4V and the political implication relating to our nation. I use words because I heard someone used them. But, do I truly understand the meaning of those words? I am not sure. I love V4V because it gives me so much courage to face my own problems. I shouldn't have made any political comments, because I really don't know deep enough about our nation and issues people are concerning or talking about. I say because that is what I heard and although I have similar feelings toward some issues, but it doesn't justify for me to make any comments. I need to learn more and know more before I make my comments. Especially words that I choose to use to communicate. ---That's what I really wanted to say. I hope I have communicated correctly this time.
For example, a real bad mistake I made in the past:
I was trying to help my girlfriend selling her stuff. A lady was interested in one of the item and she tried to see if we could lower the price a little. Being a stupid foreigner like me told the lady “Please do not Jew us down”. (Of course the lady was very offended, as she happened to be Jewish,) I didn’t know what that “Jew” really means. I used it because I heard some friends used it when they describe people try to get a better deal.
I heard friends used “bastard” when they didn't like someone. Again, I didn’t fully understand the true meaning of the word. My apologies.

Dear domino, I think you're being too hard on yourself.
I know how you feel about not being able to express exactly what you want to say, because English isn't my first language either. That's why I usually stay out of the political discussions and visit the page-long dissertations regarding V's motives in lurk-mode only.
But there are so many other ways to contribute to this board: we have many different kinds of games in the Diversions section, we share photos, funny links and jokes and it's possible to rant/cry in the Rant thread, just to give a few examples.
In other words: this board is about so many other things than V4V and political discussions - please stay, hang out and/or contribute, that alone will improve your English. If you see words here you don't know the meaning of, then ask. That's what I've been doing and I've always gotten a reply to my questions.
And please remember: we all make mistakes - even when using our own language
