Avatar...When or How To Get?
Hi,
Being a newer member, I was wondering how I can get myself a YUMMY "V" avatar

ButMad made mine for me, but she may be a bit busy at the mo, think she's moving. I beleive there are a few other people who can make 'em too. I'm sure someone will offer when they see your plea! If not, I'll give it a go for you, but I'm not very good at it!

But Mad and BohWea seem to be most into the crafting of avatars, but if you are at all handy with any of the photo programs they are not very dificult to make yourself. Animated avatars require a more sophisticated photo program with animation capability, and a little more expertise and effort, but are not all that difficult to make either.
If you decide to make your own:
Craft the photo of your choice with whatever pithy V saying fits you best, resize it to 100 X 100 pixels, and upload it to one of the photo-hosting websites of your choice (imageshack and photobucket are the most popular). You then copy and paste the hosted picture's url into your control panel's avatar box bracketed by [img*][/img*] (without the asterix') , and presto you're in business.
If you want someone to make you one, it might help if you told us something about yourself (ie if you look at ButMad's signature (it used to be her avatar too), crafted by BohWea, it combines her love of V with her love of Hamlet). And also tell us your favorite scene/character/theme of the film...

Yup, ButMad is moving. And panicking and freaking out and....  .....sorry.
I'm taking the cats to their new home this weekend and staying with them until Sunday so they know they're not just being abandoned. So I'm hoping for a little downtime, but we'll see. Da Kitty and Da Kitty Parents may press me into service, for all I know.

Actually, it still is - the avatar Boh made for me is one of the images in the rotation. You just have to see it during the right hour.
