A Question for YouTubers
I uploaded my V vid yesterday, just to see what happens... I noticed that you can create Groups.
Does anyone know how that works? Is there any interest in creating a Ladies of the Shadow Gallery group? Would there be any "benefit" to doing so?
Input?

I'm not sure what the Groups are. I am a noob over there so I have to play around with it.
There's a lot of strange people out on that site. LOL If you don't mind people writing YOU SUCK for no reason on your comments in huge letters (and you can erase them at will...whoo hoooo), then it's okay. People might even subscribe to your vids (which means they get an email every time you put a new one up). You might get some strange emails (I have) about people wanting to share vids with you.
I don't regret it, but I wish I knew what I was getting into before signing up. If you can handle the nuts out there, then that's okay. LOl

I chose the setting that no comments post until I've approved them.  So far, no one has commented on or rated my video... I'm not even sure how many people have actually seen it, as the number of views changes every time I go to the page.

Well, if I decide I don't like it, there's always the "delete account" option. 
From what I've seen of YouTube, I don't really like it - yet another way to try and win a popularity contest or act stupid in public (for those people who make videos of themselves). I was just curious what kind of reaction my video(s) would get - if any - and thought this would be an easy way to share the videos cross-platform... But like I said, I might take everything down if I change my mind.

Give it a week or so. It took awhile for my vids to be looked at. They'll look at anything...even my Leper King video! It took a long time for me, but some people found that vid.
BTW, how do you set it up so you can approve comments?

If you click on the option to "Edit Video," there's a setting for "Allow Comments: Yes, with Approval: Allow comments to be added to this video after you have approved them."

I went ahead and made a group.

When I tried to invite you to join, the button didn't work. So see if you can submit a request to join, K? - I'm limiting membership in the group to people who are already members of this board... But I have everything else set to auto, no approval by me required. So you can add your vids (even the Leper King one) to the group. 
This way, we can all easily see each others' videos, and we have a "group" presence on YouTube...
