The Quotes Thread
Share any quotes you wish - wise quotes, funny quotes, touching quotes, favorite quotes....
From people famous, infamous, or "mundane." (Not to mention real or imaginary.)
From movies, TV, real life, speeches, history, wherever.
On any topic.
Provoke thoughts, prod funny bones.
Let's just collect quotes. 
For example:

This is one of my favorite poems that I had to read whilst getting my degree. I'm always trying to quote it, but never remembering it. So I googled, and here it is:
