I am totally addicted to SnapeCast! DO have a listen to the podcast, fsf... you will LOVE it! I have only now just started poking around their forum. And the interviews with fanfic authors are tempting me, too.

The scope of the HP fandom is truly mind-boggling... I had no idea....

(insert naughty thoughts here--preparing myself with leather corset, scented candles, silk sheets, and rembering to look up a spell to make Snape's pants disappear)

Btw, I do have that NCEA action figure already. They sell them at Borders only here. I am a little disappointed in the painting (he's got eyeliner LOL) and the lack of poseability, but other than that, it's a lovely piece in my bedroom. emoticon

I've gone Snape nuts ever since I saw Alan Rickman in the role. I remember that Tim Roth was going to be offered the role and actually thought at the time that Tim would be better at it. What a fool was I!!!! Since then, not only have I been a Snape fan but an Alan Rickman fan. (by the way, if you want an "Alan is so hot I can't stand it film," get Mesmer. The script isn't that great, but oh the Alan--hands, kisses, oh my).

Heh ... probably 98% of the entire female population did. Alan Rickman should have MUCH more screen time, as the character he portrays is a key factor in the entire Potter series - unlike the films would have the non-reader believe. Considering what WB did to Order of the Phoenix (thanks to time constraints - and a screen writer who more than likely used CliffsNotes) - I'm almost dreading the release of the final two films in the series.

In one regard, Tim Roth may have done a better job in the role. In the midst of all this sighing and fluttering, it's sometimes hard to remember that Snape is supposed to be a greasy, loathsome, despicable bully emoticon Tim Roth might have been less likely to distract us all by being unutterably sexy!
