Re: The Love Seat indeed ...
Great vids, Cyg!! I wish my Sims 2 would stop crashing!! Love the Hugo jam session!

Vienna - he still has his clothes on because I haven't figured out how to take them off yet ... as far as creating him - no, I'm not responsible for that
A bit more detail - Someone in the Sims community created a Sim V - I've never figured out how to do skins, clothing, and such, so any "custom" Sims in my game are downloads. Both Cyg and I downloaded that Sim V.
Anyway, there's no way for a Sim to wear gloves, and of course in the movie, every bit of V is black - even his ears have makeup, in case the wig swings back. (For my purpose here, I'm ignoring the bit of skin we sometimes glimpse under the edge of the mask.) The ONLY way for the creator of the Sim V to accomplish this in the game was to create a custom skin - pure, solid black. So that V in the hot tub DOES have his clothes off - his skin is just blacker than black.
Even stranger - the only way to accomplish the mask was to design it as full-face makeup. So it actually moves and changes expression, which can be a bit freaky.
The Sims 2 has a built-in movie-making feature, so all Cyg had to do was get V in the hot tub and roll camera.

Wonderful, Cygnet!
But for this problemquote: I haven't figured out how to take them off yet
, how about the Full Monty image provided by, Iirc, Valkyrie? Though you might want to get the shoes and sox off... ... I'd keep the shades.
I think it's on the Pictorial Hugo appreciation thread; if not, there is a good deal of skin on view in other pix.

Oooooh, I completely forgot about that Full Monty image - that would be a sight indeed for the "Hugo Jam Session"!!
Two problems with that though - first being that I haven't yet figured out how to skin for TS2, I'll probably begin looking into that soon. And no - I'd HAVE to keep the shoes and socks on along with the shades
The other problem is that the sims, if the censor patch is removed - are equipt like Ken & Barbie dolls. I've yet to find a properly working add-on to make the men of the game appear to be anatomically correct. On the other hand, weirdly enough - the add-on to make the women anatomically correct worked pefectly. In short, when the guys of the game ummmm - go #1 - they are holding absolutely nothing - believe me, it's VERY strange looking.
NNW ... you're right, no gloves for the game. Kind of dumb on EA's part since that would be considered an accessory - don't you think? Although, I have to admit to actually liking the black skin as it does give V a somewhat comical look when he's wearing the undershirt and heart print boxers.
And for the record ... NNW wasn't kidding when she said that there is a built-in movie-making feature in The Sims 2 - so that part was very easy to create. The pain in the rear part was driving up their creativity skills so they could play the instruments properly as opposed to having the sound of a 2 year old playing with pots & pans.

WHOA! I hadn't expect to see this thread resurrected at all. Massive group squooblies for all the karma - and, I'll post more funny Hugo character clips as I dream them up. Glad you're enjoying them. Trust me - there's more where that came from!
