I'm a fan of him in the sense of him being one of those characters I love to hate. Him getting his comeuppance is sooooo delicious, he's so self-righteous and egotistical. When he's reciting his own lines about "I wish I'd been there... Just one chance, that's all I need." I grin maliciously with the thought, "Ooh, just wait... And that's all you're gonna get!"
I wish V had been wearing his hat in that scene, though - for some reason, the lack of hat is distracting to me...

Robert Allum played Javert in Les Miserables when it first played in London. He has an awesome voice and I always loved his Javert...I like the scenes of him in his uniform in the flashbacks (Reminds me of Inspector Javert a bit)..but the towel scene, well...not my fave, although I did smile :)

I like the bit in this scene where V grips the bishop's wrist and you can hear the bone cracking. I turn the volume up on my remote when that part comes up.
